We’re bringing the wonderful game of Amtgard to Boomtown Comic Convention, and YOU are invited to step into the arena!

Calling all warriors and straw hats! Compete in our tournament in a bout that will reveal the mightiest among the red hills and win a straw hat trophy!
🏰 Battle Games and Quests
Looking to bring adventure to your event experience? Visit the wandering tavern near the arena and ask about quest leads!
🏹 Archery Shoot!
Come and test your marksmanship! Show your skills in traditional archery. Compete against friends for prizes and rights to boast!
⚔️ This game is played using padded weapons! No armor is required but a firm guard and swing is necessary! Great for any weapon wielding age! HUZZAH!
👑 Compete for glory, bragging rights, and eternal renown!
We’ll have loaner weapons, quick rules training, and friendly marshals to get you fighting fast. Whether you’re a seasoned fighter or brand-new, this is your chance to jump in and test your skill! Bring a friend! Fight a friend!

This event will mark the introduction of a brand-new local Amtgard park, The Freehold of Redhill, and we’re recruiting fighters and artisans alike. Come test your mettle, meet the community, share your knowledge, and join a game set in old world skill and traditions.
Following this event, we will meet regularly each Saturday at 1pm in the field between the skatepark and Johnson Park Youth Center. Come out to play team based war games, try different classes, and fight in field of battle!
