About this Event

Join AIER’s Bastiat Society program in Dallas for an event with Dr. William Ruger, President of the American Institute for Economic Research, and Dr. Jason Sorens, Senior Research Faculty at the American Institute for Economic Research.

Freedom is the cornerstone of America, so how free is Texas?

Answering this question empirically is challenging, but the “Freedom in the 50 States” report evaluates 230 state and local policies to create overall rankings for each state’s level of freedom. Join us as Ruger and Sorens for a conversation on where Texas ranks on critical issues like taxes, guns, housing, and health, along with reform recommendations and achievements to celebrate.

This event is free and open to the public. Buffet-style lunch will be provided. Registration required.
