She has a strong connection to Oregon, where she spent time and developed ties to the community. She is founder of Sovereignty Bites, a catering company dedicated to crafting culturally inspired, locally sourced cuisine. Her work has served clients such as SEIU, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, and the Partnership for Safety and Justice. Her culinary vision reflects a commitment to community, creativity, and food sovereignty.
