AND WE’RE BACK!Our 4th annual #Juneteenth #FreedomCookout is going down on Friday, June 19th from 11am - 5pm at 33 Shirley Street in #Roxbury .
It’s been an honor and a pleasure to work alongside @shirley_eustis_house and @forblackgirlsinc to bring joy, connection and a history lesson to our community over the last several years.
What could you expect?
✅ Mansion Tours
✅ Treasure Hunt of the memory stones that hold the names of those who were enslaved on the property
✅ Riley’s Playground for kids
✅ Sensory Garden for children with different sensory needs (including Autism)
✅ The Freedom Lounge (Main Lawn) where live music and other entertainment will be held
✅ DJ and Vendor Market featuring Black-owned businesses
✅ Free book fair sponsored by @alchemyforchange
✅ The cookout offering free food on a first come, first served basis
