Welcome to the 2026 Freedom 5K and Independence Mile! The courses will be certified and we will have chip timing. All runners will receive a singlet with all that 'Murica loving July 4th theme. Post race we will grill hot dogs and have drinks for participants.

RACE DAY Packet Pickup:
We STRONGLY encourage everyone to pick up your packets if at all possible on Wednesday & Thursday from 11a-5p That said, we will have packet pickup morning of the race from 6:00am - 6:45am near the start finish line on Church Street (near this address: 200 Church St SW, Huntsville, AL 35801). Please note the race will start at 7am sharp!
