Join Sarah at Devonport Library for this fun, hands-on worm farming workshop for kids. Dive into the fascinating world of tiger worms and discover how these tiny composting heroes turn food scraps into fertiliser for your plants. There’ll be plenty of wiggly worm fun and hands-on activities including how to make a mini-worm farm from ice-cream containers to take home. Perfect for kids aged 5-10.Each attending child is asked to bring along two clean ice-cream containers and lids (2L dark plastic) along with a small amount of vegetable scrap if they can. We’ll have spares on the day!
This workshop is designed for children and their caregivers. Please register one ticket per child and one ticket per accompanying adult. Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult.
