Enjoy an outdoor garden setting at Hope Teaching garden, nestled right beside the Whau river.
We will be exploring and learning regenerative garden principles and the importance from a practical hands-on experience of how soil health is directly connected to the health and nutrient value of the food being grown and in turn our own health.
We will harvest food straight from the garden and create dishes together to share at the end of the workshop.
Practical composting methods will be a part of this mornings exploration.
Bring your gardening questions, experience and any cuttings you may feel would be a wonderful addition to this garden.
You are welcome to take compost away for your own garden from the community composting hub.
