Free Youth Mental Health First Aid Training in Barberton, Ohio
Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) isan evidence-based training program that teaches adults how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adolescents ages 12-18. Participants learn a 5-step action plan (ALGEE) to provide initial support, including listening nonjudgmentally and connecting youth to professional help.
