Join a free NZSL-supported wānanga on traditional Māori games run by a leader in ngā taonga tākaro, Wiremu Sarich (Te Rarawa, Ngā Puhi).Wiremu uses games and story-telling to connect people to te ao Māori (the Māori world).
NZSL interpreters will be there and we’ll provide lunch. Come wearing comfortable clothing.

How to get to Auckland Deaf Society, 16 Hillsborough Road, Hillsborough, Auckland
By car: Located a short distance from SH20, the South-Western Motorway, use the Hillsborough Road turnoff. From other directions, head for Three Kings or Royal Oak shopping centres and the society is just down the road.
By bus: The 27H travels along Hillsborough Road is a good option. The 27W and 27T on Mt Eden Road is a 9 minute walk to the society.
