Tips-based walk from Allan Gardens to Kensington via downtown/Chinatown. Warm greenhouse start; photo-friendly.
About this Event

Start warm inside Allan Gardens Conservatory, then roll past Sankofa (Yonge-Dundas), glimpse AGO/Grange Park, weave through Chinatown, and finish in Kensington Market. A pay-what-you-feel walk with stories, photo cues, and local tips. Families welcome.

  • Length: 75–90 minutes · Cost: Pay-what-you-feel (cash, e-Transfer, or tap via QR)
  • Meet point: Allan Gardens Conservatory — South doors (Carlton & Jarvis side).
  • End point: Kensington Market (Nassau St. & Augusta Ave. area).
  • Accessibility: Mostly flat with curb cuts; Conservatory and downtown sidewalks are stroller-friendly. We choose quieter crossings when possible.
  • Weather plan: We start warm inside the Conservatory. If wind-chill is severe, we’ll linger longer indoors and may add short indoor corridor segments before heading west. In extreme cold/alerts, we may shorten to ~70–75 minutes (same spirit, pay-what-you-feel).
  • Group size: Up to 18.

Good to know:

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early; we start on time.
  • Bathrooms: Conservatory at the start (when open); limited mid-route.
  • Pets: Leashed dogs are fine outdoors; Conservatory may restrict pets (service animals welcome).
  • Transit & parking: TTC is recommended. Paid lots are available near Allan Gardens and around Kensington; allow extra time on weekends/holidays.

After the tour: I’ll DM you a mini Google Map with café stops, and local gems so you can keep exploring.
