Ever wondered what it would be like to volunteer at Worcester community garden?Perhaps you’ve visited us, followed us on social media, or heard others talk about the garden and thought, “I’d like to know more”, but weren’t quite sure what getting involved would mean.
This free event is a relaxed, no-commitment opportunity to explore the garden, meet some of our volunteers, and get a clearer picture of what we do and how it all works. You’ll hear a little about the garden itself, how we grow, and the role we play in supporting wellbeing, community connection, sustainability and local wildlife.
You’ll also learn about the many different ways to get involved. Some people enjoy the practical side: weeding, watering, planting, and general maintenance. Others are drawn to wildlife projects, composting, events, or welcoming visitors to the site. You don’t need any prior experience, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills along the way.
Come along, ask questions, have a look around, and see whether it feels like the right fit for you. No pressure, no obligation, just a chance to get to know the garden and the people who make it what it is.
