About this Event
Join Cree and Kevin for an all-levels vinyasa flow practice focused on breath, body awareness, and internal reflection. Cree and Kevin will guide you through a foundational asana practice with moments of intentional pause to come back to the breath. This class will provide an easy introduction to the yoga practice that is tailored to both new and experienced practitioners. In this class, you will learn about a variety of breathwork techniques that will help you in your everyday life to feel grounded, energized and calm depending on what you need. We hope to see you on the mat!
Cree’s Bio
I’m Cree Lawrence, a passionate yoga and fitness teacher based in Longmont, Colorado. I share my practice across the Front Range and globally, offering weekly classes in studios. I thrive on creating transformative experiences at yoga retreats and vibrant music festivals.
My journey with yoga began at 17 when I was searching for ways to navigate the complexities of life. It was through the practices of breathwork, intentional movement, mindful stillness, and meditation that I discovered a profound sense of inner peace and self-confidence. Yoga has empowered me to breathe through challenges and respond with grace and clarity.
With over 500 hours of training, I specialize in Vinyasa, VinYin, Yin, Hot yoga, and weighted workouts, facilitating a space for my students to explore their bodies and minds.
When I’m not on the mat, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors—be it playing volleyball, pickleball, skiing, or hiking. I also love cozy nights in, often accompanied by my favorite music. I’m excited to share this journey with you and help you uncover your own path to wellness.
Kevin’s Bio
Kevin holds the torch for the student to navigate their own path. He believes there is no single correct or incorrect way to explore the many facets of wellbeing. In his class you can expect an alchemy of play, discipline and intentional breathing. He encourages students to "freestyle" their practice in a way that suits their individual needs. Kevin came to yoga in 2012 after a series of sports-related injuries. He fell in love with the practice when he realized the potential of mental and physical wellbeing. As an E-RYT 500, certified health coach and psychology student, he pulls knowledge and experience from his studies into the classroom. Kevin enjoys peppering in relevant scientific information regarding benefits of postures, breathwork and mindfulness. When he is not teaching or studying, you can find Kevin playing sports and board games with friends and family.
