Join us over the weekend of 16-17 May to celebrate 50 years since Upton Country Park opened to the Public in 1976. There will be themed events throughout the Park taking you through the ages since Upton House was built in 1816-1818. Come and explore Upton House to learn about some of the families who lived here from 1818 - 1957, see characters around the grounds in period dress, learn a regency dance or step out onto the South Lawn for afternoon tea and garden games. Dress up in period dress from your favourite era and bring your own picnic while enjoying the views across the lawn to Poole. Food and drinks will be on sale across the Park.If you prefer getting your groove on, join us in the Walled Garden from 12pm for our Sounds of the 70s zone where we step back to 1976 when the Park was opened to the public. With music and family activities throughout the afternoon, bring your flared friends to celebrate and enjoy a boogie into the early evening with 70s disco tracks and fun activities. With free entry to the Park, there's something for everyone.
No booking needed.
