In celebration of the nation’s 250th birthday, the city of Owosso will plant 250 trees throughout the community - and we need your help.Residents are invited to pick up free trees to plant at home. A total of 125 trees, in a variety of sizes and species, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tree Pickup Opportunities:
• Wednesday, April 22 | 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
DPW Garage, 522 Milwaukee Street
• Friday, April 24 | 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Bentley Park
A total of 75 trees will be planted in city parks this spring, and the remainder of the trees will be planted in right-of-way locations in the fall.
Help us mark this historic milestone by planting a tree and investing in the future of our community. Thank you to the Cook Family Foundation and the Owosso Rotary Club for joining us in this initiative.
