TRE (Trauma Releasing Exercises) Workshop
Join us for a TRE Workshop at the Abundance Wellness Center. This in person event is designed to help you release deep rooted stress and tension from the body. Through a series of simple exercises, you will learn how to activate your body’s natural tremor response, which supports relaxation and healing.
This is a free workshop offered exclusively to teachers. You give so much of your energy, care, and emotional presence to your students, often while holding high levels of responsibility, pressure, and stress. TRE can be especially supportive for teachers because it offers the body a gentle way to discharge accumulated tension and restore a sense of balance. This workshop is offered as a gift of appreciation for the meaningful work you do, and as a space where you can be supported by peers while tending to your own well being. If you would like to purchase a donation ticket, all proceeds will go toward the cost of renting the space, which is forty five dollars per workshop.

TRE is an innovative series of simple exercises that help the body release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma by inducing a gentle shaking response. This natural response often feels soothing and restoring, and many people report a sense of peace and well being afterward.
What you can expect from this workshop:
You will learn how stress is stored in the body and how to activate the body’s natural tremor response. You will also learn how to integrate this practice into your daily life so you can continue benefiting from TRE on your own.
Please arrive ten minutes early to put down your things, get settled, and sign the TRE liability and health form. The workshop will take the full ninety minutes, so we will begin promptly at 9 am.
When you arrive, the front door of the studio will be locked. Please make your way to the back of the building and enter through the wooden gate to find the studio. You may want to bring a yoga mat, a pillow or a blanket which are optional, and a bottle of water. If you do not have these items, there are some provided on site. Please wear loose or stretchy clothing similar to what you might wear to a yoga class and try to avoid eating or drinking large amounts within two hours of the workshop.
All exercises can be performed comfortably while wearing a mask if that feels better for you.
To help keep the space comfortable and neutral for everyone, please refrain from wearing strong perfumes or scented lotions.
