About this Event
Holding this *FREE* Trans & Queer BIPOC affinity space is a culmination of some of Lakshmi’s dreams and community feedback. She is grateful to you for your interest in this affinity class because, without you, it would not be possible. Be brave and proud! Bring your Queer BIPOC loves, friends, and chosen family!
The class will combine gentle movement & stretching, breathwork, and meditation or journaling—all of which are optional to engage in. There will be a theme introduced at the beginning of class, which you are invited to meditate on after the asana flow, during savasana. Following savasana, there will be time to discuss this theme (or whatever you'd like to share with the space) during community time. Lakshmi will provide some basic art supplies, free for all to use at any time during the class. What matters is that you show up and use the space however you need and trust your process.
Reminders: come comfy, bring your mat, props, and water. Option to bring your journal if you’d like to incorporate that into your practice for your private processing.
Class is accessible via public transit, and there is free parking and street parking, which is also free on Sundays.
