About this Event
Join Our Free Training: Safeguarding Adults
Looking to make a difference in your community?
This free in-person Safeguarding Adults session is designed for volunteers and volunteer leads of Liverpool; giving you practical knowledge and guidance on how to recognise signs of harm, respond to safeguarding concerns, and support adults at risk.
Come along to our in-person safeguarding session to build confidence, make a difference, and learn how to better protect and support adults at risk in your community. The session will cover key safeguarding themes, including what safeguarding is and the six principles of safeguarding. You’ll also explore how to recognise signs and indicators of abuse, and how to respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, including the role of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks in supporting safer practice.
Please note: due to limited spaces, we ask that organisations nominate one representative to attend and share the learning within their organisation. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
LCVS requires that attendees complete the booking form to the fullest extent to allow us to deliver the session effectively. We ask that you confirm all details before submitting your order.
As we have a waiting list, if you cannot attend, please cancel/refund your ticket or email [email protected]
Repeat non-attendance will result in not being permitted to book on to future LCVS events and training
