Discover Cobalt Medical Charity’s life-changing work. Hear from leading experts on imaging, AI, research and patient care. Booking required.
Did you know that Cobalt Medical Charity has been supporting people across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire for over 60 years?
Founded in 1964 by Dr Fred Hanna, the charity was originally created to help patients access local radiotherapy treatment for cancer. Today, Cobalt plays a vital role in delivering cutting-edge imaging technology and supporting cancer research and patient care across the region and beyond.
You are warmly invited to Linton House to hear from Dr Umesh Udeshi (Medical Director) and Professor Iain Lyburn (Director of Research) as they explain Cobalt’s work. The talks will cover what the charity does, diagnostic technology, how MRI and CT scanning work, the use of AI in medical imaging, and the impact of Cobalt’s research and much, much more.
Places are limited and booking is required. Parking is available at the Church Car Park next door. While there will not be a tour of the facilities, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
