Free Stop the Bleed Training

STOP THE BLEED is one of our nation's largest public health campaigns designed to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Its goal is to save lives by training people across the country how to stop traumatic bleeding.

Participants will learn to:

• Recognize signs of uncontrolled bleeding.
• Describe the progressive strategy for controlling bleeding.
• Take appropriate actions while waiting for emergency responders to arrive.
• Apply direct pressure and wound packing using hemostatic dressing on open bleeding wounds.
• Apply tourniquet correctly on wounded extremities.
• Partcipants will receive certificates at the end of class. Ensure to write your name correctly.

Classroom Settings:

• All participants need to wear a mask (optional).
• We will provide gloves for the hands-on skill portion.
• Please, bring pen and paper to take notes as needed.
• Free Visitor Parking

• The conference room will be next to Suite 200. Look for Stop the Bleed Sign.
