Join us every First Saturday from 8pm-midnight for the monthly installment of Soul Seek at Buteco (Grant Park)
DJs Wahine and Tracy Levine (HouseCat) will take you on a soulful journey through underground house, disco, afro, and latin sounds at a local Atlanta favorite, Buteco. We are delighted to bring our sound to an intimate venue so well-known for quality music and a strong sense of community. Come early and dine at one of The Beacon's many restaurants or grab a bite at the adjacent taco truck, Butaco. Then settle in with some cocktails, like a refreshing traditional caipirinha, and get hydrated before the music and dancing kick off at 8pm.

A BOUT DJ TRACY LEVINE (HOUSECAT)
Dj Tracy Levine (HouseCat) has been spinning at Atlanta nightclubs and events since 1989. A dancer turned dj, she plays a wide variety of house styles, focusing on vocal soulful, afro-Latin, deep, underground house with infectious rhythms and melodies. Currently a resident at Heretic on Wednesdays, The Eagle, and recurring spots at Future, Gallery 992, The House Social Club and more.
A BOUT WAHINE
In just 4 years, Wahine has ascended from total obscurity into a rising star in the disco scene following her appearance at Defected Croatia in 2019. She is the co-host of the award-winning Spin City radio show on the World’s #1 House Radio Station (MyHouseRadio.fm), resident with Passion Ibiza Radio, guest blogger with LeVisiteur.com, and the creator of tropical disco event, .
Her sound has be described as “Disco in Paradise”—sundrenched and full of tropical influences, matching her Hawaiian moniker. Dancefloor-driven funky licks are spiced with percussive jams with equal parts brains and brawn. She is forever on the hunt for the perfect vocal track with a message that will elevate the vibe and leave party-goers with something more to consider beyond the club space.
Trained in a dozen world dance forms, Wahine is known to spend her last track on the dancefloor in communion with her fellow dancers.
