In celebration of Social Work Month, The Link of Cullman County, in partnership with Cullman County DHR, is hosting a complimentary Lunch & Learn for local social workers and helping professionals!This year’s national theme, “Social Work: Uplift. Defend. Transform.” reflects the heart of what our community workers do everyday and this gathering is our way of honoring the incredible impact social workers make across Cullman County.
In recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month in April, this luncheon will focus on child abuse prevention strategies. We are honored to welcome Sarah Sharp, RN, SANE-A, SANE-P, Forensic Nurse Coordinator for Crisis Services of North Alabama, who will present Standardizing Detection: Bruising Clinical Decision Rule. This training offers 1.5 CE credits.
Attendees will leave equipped with practical tools, updated insight, and renewed vision for strengthening and protecting children and families in our community!
