Welcome to Social Kitchens at Northumbria! Where you learn new skills, meet new people, and eat unreal food at the end of it, for FREE!
First up? We’re going big with Abrakebabra.
Our Executive Chef is stepping in to show you how to whip up a proper tasty lamb kofta kebab from scratch. Packed with flavour, spices and all the good stuff. Not a meat eater? No stress, falafel’s on the menu too.
During the session you'll make...
- Lamb Kofta Kebab or Falafel Kebab
- Greek salad onion tomato feta cucumber olives
- Creamy tzatziki yoghurt Dip
- Aji Limo (green pepper hot sauce)
- All served with Khobez Bread
You’ll pick up loads of kitchen skills along the way, from seasoning and shaping to cooking and building the perfect kebab. No experience needed, just bring yourself and a bit of appetite.
T&Cs - this event is for Northumbria University students and is done on a first come first serve basis. Once the session is full you will not be able to sign up. We reserve the right to cancel the event at any time and will notify all attendees should this happen for this event in advance. We reserve the right to exclude participants on reasonable health & safety grounds on a case by case basis. Please remember to bring your student ID to the event.
