Ready, Set, Sing! Morris Music Men Offer Free 6-Week Singing Program for Men
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Men who want to improve their singing voice, gain confidence, or simply enjoy making music together are invited to take part in Ready, Set, Sing, a free six-week vocal program offered this spring by the Morris Music Men.
Led by Music Director Nate Barrett, the program focuses on the fundamentals of healthy singing, including vocal production, breath support, and singing in harmony. Designed for men of all experience levels, the class offers a relaxed, supportive environment for anyone who has ever wondered if they “can sing.”
“A lot of men think they can’t sing,” said Barrett. “Usually, they just haven’t been shown how to use the instrument they already have. This class is about discovering that instrument and building confidence.”
Participants will work together to learn and perform a song entirely a cappella, putting their new skills into practice during an informal final performance with the Morris Music Men chorus.
Classes meet Tuesdays at 7:30 pm beginning March 24, 2026 at the Fellowship Hall of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 300 Shunpike Road, Chatham, NJ. The program is free, and no audition is required. Registration is requested by March 17.
