It’s time to say goodbye to those old bank statements, medical bills, tax documents, and confidential paperwork piling up at home! The Miami County Recycling District is hosting a FREE Shredding Event for Miami County residents , and we’d love to see you there! 📆 Saturday, May 2, 2026
⌚ 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
📍 2651 West Logansport Road, Peru, IN 46970
🚛 Shredding will be done on-site by Eco Shred, so you can watch your documents be securely destroyed.
✅ CHECK-IN REQUIRED:
This event is for Miami County residents only.
Residents must present a valid ID.
Your account must be in good standing to participate.
The name and address on your account must match your ID.
📦 LIMIT:
Four (4) banker-size boxes or equivalent per address.
Participants must unload their own boxes.
📄 PAPER ONLY:
Staples and paper clips are allowed.
No three-ring binders, hardcover books, or electronics.
🚫 Businesses are NOT eligible to participate in this event.
