The Government of Catalonia invites you to the free screening of “Los Destellos,” a family drama directed by Pilar Palmomero.
The film will be shown in Spanish and Catalan with English subtitles.
Admission is free.
Synopsis
Isabel's life takes an unexpected turn when her daughter Madalen asks her to take care of her father, Ramón, who is sick. After fifteen years without seeing her ex-husband Isabel will try to fulfill her mission with diligence and coldness.
This screening is the second film in the : Catalan Cinema Worldwide series, organized by the Delegation of the Government of Catalonia to the United States and Canada as part of our commitment to sharing Catalonia’s culture and creativity with the Washington community. This initiative is a collaboration with the Acadèmia del Cinema Català, with the support of the Institut Ramon Llull.
