About this Event
Join us to learn more about the Tennessee Supreme Court's proposal on expanding access to more affordable legal help.
We are excited to invite nonprofit professionals and community leaders to a roundtable event on the Tennessee Supreme Court's recent proposal on expanding access to legal help, specifically by training nonlawyers to meet the vast amount of unmet legal needs in Tennessee. We will begin with a brief presentation about the reforms the court is considering, then have a discussion about the civil legal issues Tennessee residents face and challenges accessing help from lawyers. Refreshments will be provided!
The Institute for Justice is a non-profit, civil liberties law firm dedicated to increasing access to justice nationwide. Questions? Contact Kate at [email protected].
