Guest Speaker: Mark Sadgrove
Founder of The Canadian Moose World Travelling Ice Hockey Club, Mark has spent more than 37 years promoting grassroots hockey in countries underdeveloped in the sport. Through international tours, charity work and outreach, he has introduced and inspired a love for hockey across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. His team’s record-setting efforts have supported local causes, including initiatives for the homeless and “Moose Magic,” a program for terminally ill and special-needs children in New Zealand.
A lifelong athlete and coach, Mark has played and competed professionally overseas, earning recognition from the Hockey Hall of Fame and induction into the Lindsay and District Sports Hall of Fame in 2024. He brings a wealth of experience, global perspective and passion for connecting communities through sport.
