About this Event
Join us as Robert Comeau shares his research into the more than 30 men from Ireland Parish who fought in the American Revolution. Ireland Parish was the section of West Springfield that became Holyoke in 1850. Although sources are scant, Bob gathers together pension records, maps, local histories, gravestone evidence, and more to piece together a picture of local participation in the Revolution from 1775 to 1783.
This program is funded by the Holyoke Local Cultural Council and the Holyoke Preservation Trust.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation (no matter how small) to help the Holyoke Preservation Trust with offering more free cultural and historical events and workshop materials.
