About this Event
Come Poi in the Park and experience the joy of movement, rhythm, and connection! Whether you're picking up poi for the very first time or looking to build on your skills, these friendly outdoor sessions are the perfect place to play, learn, and challenge both body and mind.
What to Expect:
Each 30-minute session blends learning, movement, and music in an accessible, beginner-friendly format:
1. Warm-up
Get your body moving and ready to flow.
2. Learn Poi Movements
Explore foundational poi techniques with guidance and plenty of room to play.
3. Put It Together to Music
Bring your new moves to life with rhythm and fun.
4. Cool Down
Stretch, breathe, and wrap up feeling great.
Timetable:
? Tamariki Session (6 and under) – 25 mins
10-minute break
? Tamariki Session (7-12 y/o) – 25 mins
10-minute break
Adults – 40 mins
10-minute wrap-up
Please note: All tamariki must be accompanied by a caregiver (no need to book an extra ticket for caregiver)
