About this Event
The major parties, including so called ‘left’ Labour MPs, are trying to amend or place conditions on a potential ‘ceasefire' so that it benefits imperialism and not Palestine. They aim to stop the resistance and continue the occupation. For a free Palestine we must build the call for Britain to place comprehensive sanctions on Israel; to stop trading weapons with them and stop companies profiting from stolen land and genocide. If MPs won’t do this, they only intend to keep using the occupation for the profits of British imperialists and are not worth voting for or supporting.
Beyond a ceasefire, beyond boycotts there is the call for SANCTIONS NOW!

We aim to strengthen the movement for a free Palestine by exposing the origins of Zionism in British imperialism. We can develop our tactics by studying how the Labour ‘left’ have undermined solidarity with Palestine and, over the decades, has supported Zionism. By learning the lessons of the past we can free Palestine, end imperialism and build a system not driven by expansion and occupation; by building socialism.
