Join us for a free outdoor screening of the award-winning documentary Yakona on the lawn at Spring Lake on March 28! This special community event celebrates the San Marcos River through film, conversation, and family-friendly activities.Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy optional glass-bottom boat rides (6–7 PM, $9 per person) and family-friendly crafts (6–7:30 PM). A panel discussion featuring local experts and river advocates will take place from 7:15–7:45 PM. The evening’s screening begins at 8 PM with the short film Zizania, followed by Yakona.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us for an evening along the banks of one of Texas’s most treasured rivers!
