In conjunction with OBA.nl we are offering a free origami session on Saturay 12 October 2024 from 11:15am - 12:30pm.
This is a free workshop for beginners.
The aim of the workshop is to introduce this beautiful art to a new generation.
Did you know that there are no origami clubs in Amsterdam?
I would like to see if we can create a small origami club to teach others this beautiful art form.

Looking for a relaxing hobby and meditation in one? Join the origami workshop. You will be taught by experienced teacher Samuel Tsang.
The language of instruction is English.
Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper. In this 75-minute workshop you will learn to fold 3 models. Each model is introduced with a story that helps you focus on the positive and inspiring. You will notice that origami helps you relax and be in the now. Origami is not only a nice hobby, but also an art form and a meditation. All you need is a piece of paper and your hands. Samuel Tsang lives in London. He has been folding origami since he was a child and has been teaching since 2003.
The language of instruction during this workshop is English. Paper is provided.

Origami is de Japanse vouwkunst, dus het vouwen van papier. In deze workshop van 75 minuten leer je 3 modellen te vouwen. Elk model wordt ingeleid met een verhaal dat je helpt te focussen op het positieve en inspirerende. Je zult merken dat origami je helpt ontspannen en in het nu te zijn. Origami is niet alleen een fijne hobby, maar ook een kunstvorm en een meditatie. Alles wat je nodig hebt is een stuk papier en je handen.
Samuel Tsang woont in Londen. Hij vouwt al sinds zijn kindertijd origami en geeft sinds 2003 les.
De voertaal tijdens deze workshop is Engels. Voor papier wordt gezorgd.
