🌱 A gentle, playful way to connect with nature.
Join us for Nurture in Nature, a play-based, child-led, sensory experience designed to connect you and your tamariki/moko with the natural world. With a range of nature-based activities and invitations to play, this session is perfect for young children – and loved by all ages!
🎯 What’s On Offer:
- A variety of sensory and nature play activities (changing depending on the park’s features)
- Opportunities for tamariki to explore, create, and discover at their own pace
- Activities that encourage kaitiakitanga – caring for our natural environment in fun, interactive ways
📅 Event Details:
🕘 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
All equipment and activities set up from 9:00 am
Come and go as your child needs – no pressure to stay the whole time
Enough activities available to keep tamariki engaged for the full session if you choose to stay
This is a smoke-free and alcohol-free event! and please remember to be kind and respectful.
✅ Drop-In Community Session
This is a flexible, relaxed event designed to fit around your whānau’s rhythm.
👥 Who It’s For:
Aimed at whānau with tamariki aged 0–6, but all ages are welcome. This activity is also suitable for those with access needs, including limited mobility, intellectual disabilities, and sensory needs.
If you have trouble finding the activation or have any general inquiries, please contact our deliver partners Harry +64 21 126 3267 for assistance.
💡 What to Bring:
- Comfortable outdoor clothing & sun protection
- Water, snacks, and anything your tamariki may need
- A change of clothes for little ones who love messy play
