FREE Mindful Hiking Event

Here at Healing Earth Energy, all of you is welcome, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation...we welcome you as you are. Our one-on-one sessions and group events are inclusive, judgment-free zones.

Is spending time outside a spiritual experience for you? Would you like it to be? Do you enjoy listening to the birds and gazing at trees and listening to the leaves rustle in the wind? Join us and connect with others who enjoy hiking, spending time in nature, and connecting with trees and wildlife.

No prior experience is required. If this appeals to you, you are welcome. Bring water to stay hydrated, and perhaps a snack in case you get hungry. We will NOT be disturbing the wildlife or leaving behind litter. You may wish to familiarize yourself with identifying poison ivy, oak, and sumac (just in case). Bring whatever you need to be comfortable (hat, layers, sunglasses, etc.). We will be hiking on uneven terrain. Hike at your own risk.

After you exit the ticket booth at the park entrance, go to the intersection and turn right (towards the trailhead/Walnut shelter). Meet us near the bathrooms by the trail head at the West parking lot (not by the 'trailhead' sign at the edge of the playground). We will have a small sign with our logo (Healing Earth Energy) and "Mindful Hiking Group."

This is a free event, however, if you do not have a Recreation Passport on your license plate (when you renew your tabs), the daily fee for Michigan State Parks is $11.

Please register ahead of time and arrive 10 minutes early so we can leave on time. If you cannot attend, please notify us so we can release your tickets to someone else.

Info: Stick around afterwards to discuss insights, get to know others in the group, share highlights, etc. This is optional, and you can stay as long as you like, but the official event will end by 11:30am.
