This one-day workshop introduces you to the topic of neurodiversity and considers some of the key conditions that people live with. We look at:
•ADHD – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
•Autism
•The “Dys family” – dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia (Development Coordination Disorder)
•OCD – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
•Tourette’s Syndrome
Tik Tok creator and public speaker on neurodiversity, Nigel Sutton, will introduce the subject and facilitate you in discovering the definitions and impacts of each of the key kinds of neurodiversity. Working together with other participants, you will consider many key commonalities that those living with various neurodivergent conditions experience. We will expose the realities of being neurodivergent in a “neurotypical world” and this will allow you to develop empathy and practical strategies to support neurodivergent people to be their best.
You will be able to ask anything you want about neurodiversity.
Find out from those offering “lived experience” what it is really like to have a different kind of brain. This one day workshop is: ”Neurodiversity in a Nutshell” – whether you know a little or a lot, whether you are a relative, employer, partner, friend, or just interested to know more about neurodiversity – this workshop is for you!
