About this Event

A top-tier Canadian virologist and his Chinese wife are suddenly arrested by military secret agents in Beijing. He is threatened with the task of stealing a sample of his own work from the P4 laboratory in Winnipeg, and the situation rapidly turns worse when people begin to fall ill.

Directed by Yan Ma, this thriller takes us on a journey of life and death, opening a sensitive dialogue on topics of espionage, censorship, and morality under the Chinese Communist Party.
