This event is open to the public and will follow the Celebrity Softball Game & La Crosse Steam Game Fundraising Event at the Copeland Park Baseball field.Come check out our Celebrity Softball Game at Copeland Ball Park and Events Center between Special Olympics Athletes and local law enforcement! Then, stick around to watch the La Crosse Steam play the Madison Night Mares before catching the FREE movie! Tickets for the softball games can be purchased using the promo code: STEAMSO.
*You do not need to purchase a ticket to attend the movie but you will need to purchase a ticket for the softball games!
Gates will open around 7:00pm for those who wish to join for the FREE showing of the 1994 family hit, Angels in the Outfield.
When foster kid Roger’s estranged dad promises to reunite the family if the Anaheim Angels make it to the World Series, he asks for some divine help and prays for a successful season for his favorite team, even though they’re the worst team in the league. However, his prayers are heard, and a real angel named Al arrives to help Roger and the Anaheim Angels make some miracles! The movie stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Christopher Lloyd, and Danny Glover.
Movie will begin at 7:30pm and has a running time of 1 hour and 43 minutes.
