Attention Orlando and Central Florida communities: It is with a healing and hopeful heart that I share with you the first Tuesday of every month at The Woodruff on Lake Lucerne, For Love of Zoey Pet Sitting & Pet Loss Support Founder Ilene Lieber will continue holding a free monthly Orlando Pet Loss Support Group. When I lost my sweet baby Zoey, I didn’t know where to turn for support. Losing her was the heaviest, hardest grief I’ve ever experienced in my life. Not everyone understands this grief - Losing a pet who is so much more than that. They are our sons, our daughters, our children, our family. I am so thankful to Lap of Love for providing weekly virtual pet loss support groups. It’s what really saved me, and it’s what inspired me to honor all our deserving angel babies and start a free monthly in-person support group in Orlando for their loving parents. It’s important. For anyone who’s lost their beloved baby, whether it’s been a week, a month, a year or longer (grief has no timeline), this is your safe place to share or to listen, because both are healing, to be seen, heard, understood and supported.
