Frederick County's State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) will be hosting an in-person Medicare Workshop on Friday, January 9, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, The free event will be held at the Brunswick Branch Library, located 915 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD 21716. The first session will run from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and will cover enrollment, the different parts of Medicare, timing, costs and coverage. The second session will run from 12:15 PM to 2:00 PM and will cover Medigap/Supplemental Insurance versus Medicare Advantage including the differences, timing, coverage, and pros and cons.
