For the past year, Ark's mobile unit team has provided free metabolic health screenings to expand equitable access to clinical trial opportunities so future treatments better reflect the needs of diverse communities.

To celebrate this milestone, we invite the community to visit us at our Long Beach site for free health screenings focused on fatty liver, diabetes, and metabolic health.

All participants will receive a $10 voucher for El Pollo Loco, located next door at 2200 Clark Ave, after completing their screening. Participation in clinical trials is not required to receive a free health screening or voucher.

Your appointment may include:

• BMI measurement
• Blood pressure screening
• Blood sugar screening
• A1C testing (if recommended)
• FibroScan® liver scan to detect fibrosis or cirrhosis

Parking will be available behind our clinic as well as in the Long Beach First Church of Nazarene / KidzFirst Academy parking lot on the corner of Los Coyotes Diagonal & Rutgers Ave.
