ABOUT THIS EVENT
Our wonderful volunteers are leading these historic walks.
The walks will take place on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month, as well as one Sunday a month, which will be a tour round the Quays.
Starting at 11.00am and lasting around 1 hour and 30 mins, the meeting point is outside Victoria Junction Cafe, Arch 11, Wharf St, Victoria Quays, Sheffield, S2 5SY
These sessions are designed for adults and for children as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways.
Please bring comfortable footwear and clothing to suit the weather conditions.
Unfortunately we are unable to welcome dogs to this event this time. But please do look out for other events where all dogs would be most welcome!
GETTING HERE
Location: Victoria Junction Cafe, Victoria quays, Furnival Rd, Sheffield S4 7YB
Public Transport:
Buses: 5, 24 Sheffield, 25, 97 Sheffield, 98 Sheffield, X54 Sheffield and X74 Sheffield bus routes will take you to bus stops nearby
Train: It's approximately a 15 minute walk from Sheffield Train Station to get to the Canal and River Trust Office at Victoria Quays.
Parking: The Victoria Quays Car park is the closest car park to the walk meeting point.
ACCESSIBLITY INFORMATION
Due to the cobbles and stairs on this walk, we don't believe its accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs this time unfortunately.

Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
