Info: A Lecture / Workshop on depression and bipolar disorder. Featuring three Psychiatrists from the University of South Florida School of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience. Presented by DBS Tampa Bay, Inc. a Florida non-profit. A Q and A session follows the talk. Refreshments. 727 410-1569. The lecture topic includes the epidemic of suicides and the current mental health crisis in America. Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder and Anxiety will be discussed as well as their treatments, Q & A will follow the lecture. No registration necessary. Snacks & Refreshments. Open to the general public, and for interested individuals diagnosed with a mood disorder. These lectures are held to increase the understanding of various mood disorders and also to help to dispel the stigma of mental illness.
