The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources Hunter Education instructors will conduct a FREE Hunter Education Class on Saturday April 24-25th, 2026 at the Marlbrook Baptist Church. The class will be from 5:00-8:00PM on the 24th and will finish 1:00-4:00 PM on the 25th. This is a hands-on class taught by experienced instructors with many years of hunting experience. This class provides the student with the opportunity to handle firearms that have been altered to make them unable to fire live ammunition. All students will be required to obtain a “Today’s Hunter” student manual by one of the methods listed below. The Chapter Review Exercises in the back of the manual (4 pages total) must be completed and will be checked at the beginning of class.Methods of obtaining a student manual are as follows:
