Join us indoors this winter for double the fun at Ōrewa Community Centre, with Hungerball in the main hall and Junk Play in the small hall - there’s something for everyone!
⚽ Hungerball (Main Hall)
Get ready for fast-paced, high-energy action with two Hungerball arenas running at once - meaning more people can jump in and play!
Hungerball is an exciting mix of football, hockey, and other ball games, played inside a six-goal inflatable arena.
🌀 How it works:
Players (or teams) defend a goal while trying to score on everyone else — play 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3. It’s fast, fun, and seriously addictive!
👨👩👧👦 Who can join:
Suitable for ages 5+, all abilities welcome. Come solo, bring your friends, or join in with your whānau — facilitators will be there to support everyone.

🧩 Junk Play (Small Hall)
Let creativity run wild in this hands-on, imaginative play space led by Conscious Kids.
Junk Play – Loose Parts transforms everyday recycled materials into a creative playground where tamariki can build, invent, and explore.

Open-ended, creative play
Encourages problem-solving and imagination
Promotes reduce, reuse, and recycle values
A fun, relaxed space for kids and families to connect
This unique play experience invites children and whānau to create and collaborate, with no limits other than their imagination.
