Midlothian residents (not businesses) may drop off their NON-HAZARDOUS waste, including bulk items like tree limbs and brush, furniture, appliances (refrigerant removal provided), off-rim tires (car, light truck, semi-truck trailer; NOT farm, tractor, or heavy equipment tires), electronics such as, hair dryers, curling irons, keyboards, computer monitors, speakers, radio receivers, hand-held gaming devices, and televisions. This is a free service, except for Projector TVs, which can be recycled for a $1 per-screen-inch charge (cash and correct change accepted only) or disposed of for free. Tube-style televisions cannot be thrown away but can be recycled for the fee of $1 per screen inch. The vendor who recycles televisions requires payment in cash and correct change only.New this year, shredding service will be the same day and time at the corner of W. Ave. F and N. 7th Street (parking lot behind City Hall).
This event is held twice a year by the City of Midlothian and is intended for residents within city limits only and is not for businesses. Proof of residency is required (driver license or utility bill). The next Household Cleanup event will be held in October.
No household hazardous waste such as oils, chemicals, car batteries, or paint is accepted at this event. A hazardous waste collection event is scheduled for April 25, 2026.
