About this Event
Fall is a great time to be out in your garden assessing what you need to do to have your garden ready for the following spring. It is an opportune time becasue you can see the size of each plant and make a determination about what needs to be divided. Fall is also a good time to move plants to different locations as they are shutting down instead of beginning to grow as they would in the spring where the watering needs are much greater. We will show you how to divide various plants, discuss pros and cons of cutting back perennials in fall, and give you opportunities to ask questions and tour our garden. Wear comfortable shoes for walking outside. We will split the clas sinto two smaller groups for part of the event since we have a large number wanting to participate.
