The GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Lakeland is pleased to announce our second annual Free Community Halloween Party on Friday October 31, at the GFWC United Woman’s Club 1515 Williamsburg Sq. from 4-6 PM. Our Halloween Party provides a safe and fun event for the entire family while educating the community about local nonprofits. Last year we had 200+ children and their families enjoy music, games, crafts, candy, popcorn, temporary tattoos, hotdog dinner meal, “fortune telling”, cookie decorating, photo booth, and more, all for free and while learning about the many non-profits and the services they provide our community.
We would like you to be a part of this fun-filled evening. Reservations are now being taken for non-profit and community groups and we feel that your organization would be a welcome addition to our event. We anticipate the event will be filled with variety of community organizations and would like to give you the opportunity to reserve your spot with no fee. We are asking each non-profit or community group to have a theme and hand out candy in addition to your information at your table. Each group will be provided a table and two chairs. To become a part of our event just fill in the information on the attached registration form and let us know what theme and giveaway will be at your table. Upon receipt, you will receive a confirmation letter. This is a perfect opportunity to advertise your cause.
