About this Event
Join us to dance tango at the Hillside Club in north Berkeley. In February, our DJ is TBA.
No stiletto heels are allowed at the Hillside Club, to protect the wooden floor. Please wear flat dance shoes or dance shoes with low heels, such as character shoes or west-coast swing shoes. Socks are great too!
This is a queer-friendly event where everyone is welcome to lead and follow. Role-switching is encouraged.
There is no dance class at this event, but beginners are welcome. Talk with someone you haven't met before, and ask questions! Everyone is free to ask anyone to dance. If someone asks you to dance, you are always free to say "yes" or "no."
Please bring your water bottles! BYOB: you may bring beer, wine, and sake. No hard alcohol allowed.
