Join us for this FREE Extreme Heat Preparedness Workshop at Padstow Library and Knowledge Centre on Wednesday 19th November from 9:45 am -10:45am.
Heat impacts more people than any other disasters combined. Learn the practical, psychological and social steps to take during extreme heat.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn about extreme heat and heatwaves
 - And the physical, mental and financial impacts
 - Identify your support network, and who relies on you
 - Make a heat plan for you, and your loved ones; and
 - Learn what to pack when preparing for extreme heat

These workshops are facilitated by trained Australian Red Cross facilitators and are free to the public thanks to our partnership with the International Federation of the Red Cross, Z Zurich Foundation, and Zurich Australia.
 Please note an end of workshop survey will be conducted on how helpful participants found the workshop. An optional 3 month survey is offered to ask if particpants have used any of the information learned in the workshops, made a Heat Plan or packed a Heat Kit. Thanks!
