We’re thrilled to say that we’re teaming up with Essex County Council to bring you a special opportunity: an Exclusive Relaxed Pantomime performance, The New Adventures of Peter Pan at Mercury Theatre, Colchester, CO1 1PT.
Mercury Theatre will provide a social story to prepare you for the show.
We've got an impressive 345 tickets for this magical event, all while ensuring the relaxed feel with a 50% capacity. Get ready for some laughter and good times!
8 of these tickets are allocated to wheelchair users, please use the 'Wheelchair User' booking link located after the tickets section if you require this.

When checking out, you will need to have your Short Breaks Passport ID or Reference Number ready. (Reference Number next to your childs name on your digital account).
This event is free of charge for all attending, funded by Essex County Council.
Simply book 1 ticket per person (MAX 4 people) and complete the details required.
Please note your space is not conformed until your details have been completed and your tickets have been received by email.
On the day of the show, Mercury Theatre will supply:
- Ushers on the doors to welcome people and tick them off on the list.
- Ear defenders that people can borrow
- Set-up a breakout space with sensory stuff in the room
- The upstairs bar have the show relay on
- Pre-show talk to introduce the characters and flag any big moments that might feel overwhelming. We will also slightly adapt the show to have higher levels of lighting where everyone is sat and turn the big sound moments down slightly as well.
